Making a talking Terminator head with RAVEN CNC

This was a fun project utilizing a RAVEN CNC and animated using an adaptation of this Arduino hack by Maker Pro.

The head was an STL file sliced and then carved in sections. After carving, it was assembled and painted. Then a small wired computer speaker was integrated into the base and an Arduino uno was used to sample the audio thru an analog input. The Arduino then lights up the LEDs in the eyes and drives a small toy motor to move the jaw in sync with the sound. The end result can be connected to any sound device including an Alexa, and it will move its mouth to the words Alexa speaks.
