An herb stripper is a kitchen tool with various-sized holes that efficiently removes leaves from herb stems by pulling the stem through the appropriate-sized opening.
STEP 1 – Making Herb Strippers
The project file HerbStripperlayout1.rvn is just an example file to be used as a guide for how to layout multiple Herb Strippers using the RAVEN Universal jig.

You can modify this as needed to work with the material you chose to use.
Once carved sand and finish the Herd Strippers as desired.
NOTE: Each Herb stripper takes less than 15 minutes to carve.
STEP 2 – Carving the Jig
The HerbStriperJig.rvn is carved on a .75” x 3.5” x 7” (1×4) piece of material.

Before compiling, set the depth of the Pocket in the HerbStriperJig project to the same depth as the material the Herb Strippers were carved out of.
NOTE: Carve time: – 6 mins
Once the jig is carved, cut away the middle of the jig using a chop saw.

These cuts are not critical. Just leave enough surface to be able to clamp the Herb Strippers.

STEP 3 – Customizing
Set the material thickness of the HerbStripperText.rvn project to the same material thickness the Herb Strippers were made from.
Set the text or customization to whatever you wish. Load the Herb Stripper into the Jig in the Universal Jig and run a test cut.

If the position is off adjust the herbstripper attachment to compensate.

FINAL
We hope you’ve enjoyed this project and it gave you as much pleasure as it gave us to design and make it.
Thanks!
